Seasonal Home Décor Houston

Every season has its own character, and the right décor lets a home mark that change without a full redesign. At Arcadia, our seasonal home décor showroom in Houston changes throughout the year — Mardi Gras purple, green, and gold in January, blossom trees in spring, patriotic accents for summer gatherings, harvest tones in fall, and a fully transformed Christmas showroom in Houston by autumn.

Family-owned and serving Houston since 1988, Arcadia brings together seasonal trees, florals, ribbon, wreaths, ornaments, and decorative accents so you can refresh a room with intention rather than start from scratch.

A Showroom That Changes With the Season

Our 22,000-square-foot showroom is not a static store with a seasonal aisle tucked in the back. Displays are built, changed, and rebuilt as the calendar turns, so what you see on the floor reflects the season you are actually shopping for.

Seasonal décor is difficult to judge from a photograph alone. Scale, finish, texture, and the way a color reads under showroom lighting are much easier to understand when you can see the pieces together.

You can also see finished arrangements rather than trying to imagine how individual components will work together. Our team is available on the showroom floor to help with proportion, color, and placement. Bring a photograph of your mantel, entry table, dining room, or tree, and we can help you work through the possibilities.

Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras has a strong presence across Houston, while Galveston draws families from across the region each season. Our Mardi Gras collection goes on display early in January, with purple, green, and gold trees, garlands, masks, feathered picks, fleur-de-lis accents, and decorative pieces for mantels, entryways, tables, and entertaining.

Easter & Spring

Spring is when the showroom begins to lighten. Each year, we build dedicated Easter displays featuring Easter trees, spring blossom trees, wreaths, florals, and table décor.

Cherry blossom, dogwood, and forsythia branches bring height and movement without the short lifespan of fresh stems, while tulips, hydrangeas, nests, and softer seasonal accents make it easy to carry the look from Easter brunch into the rest of spring.

The same blossom branches take on a different character for Lunar New Year, paired with red lanterns and traditional accents. Cherry blossom in particular remains in use from January through April, working beautifully for spring decorating, Lunar New Year, Easter, and wedding backdrops alike.

Patriotic & Summer

Our patriotic collection goes out in late spring, ahead of July gatherings, summer entertaining, and family celebrations.

The collection includes red, white, and blue wreaths, ribbon, floral arrangements, front-door pieces, lanterns, and table accents. It is a smaller seasonal collection than our Christmas floor, but it is a genuine part of the showroom calendar and gives customers another opportunity to refresh their homes during the summer.

Halloween

Halloween is one of the largest seasonal displays in the showroom, presented on the same substantial scale as our fall collection. Decorated Halloween trees anchor the floor in distinctive palettes ranging from black-and-white harlequin and checkered patterns to vivid combinations of orange, purple, and lime.

The collection extends well beyond the trees, with wreaths, swags, floral arrangements, picks, ornament balls, character pieces, black roses, feathered accents, and Halloween ribbon. New tree designs and refreshed favorites give the display a different look from year to year, with layers of pieces that can be combined to create anything from playful Halloween moments to more dramatic, elaborate displays.

Fall & Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a hosting occasion more than a season, which is why it earns its own place in the showroom. The table is where guests spend the longest stretch of the day, and it rewards a centerpiece that was chosen rather than assembled at the last minute.

Our fall collection is built for that table. Harvest décor, fall trees, sculptural turkey pieces, and floral arrangements in bronze, plum, and burnt orange sit alongside runners, candle accents, and dining pieces scaled for a full table. Fall and Halloween décor both go out in July, giving customers months to preview the collection, gather ideas, and choose pieces before the season arrives.

Many Houston families move straight from October into Christmas, and a Thanksgiving tablescape suits that rhythm well. It can be set up in an afternoon, enjoyed for the occasion, and then cleared away as the holiday season begins.

Christmas

Christmas is the largest seasonal transformation in our showroom, with an entire collection devoted to the holiday.

More than 50 themed Christmas trees are staged throughout the showroom, surrounded by ornaments, wreaths, garlands, ribbon, florals, picks, and decorative accents in a wide range of palettes and styles.

Our Christmas collection goes out in July, well before most stores acknowledge the season. Houston shoppers who begin planning early have months to see the displays, gather ideas, and select pieces before the season gets underway.

Ribbon Through Every Season

Ribbon is one of the easiest ways to change the character of décor you already own. At Arcadia, our ribbon selection moves with the seasonal calendar — Mardi Gras colors in January, softer palettes for spring, patriotic combinations for summer, plaids and velvets for fall, and an extensive holiday selection by autumn.

The same tree, wreath, or arrangement can take on an entirely different look simply by changing the ribbon and a few coordinating accents.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do your seasonal collections go out?

We prepare seasonal displays well ahead of each season. Mardi Gras goes on display in early January, spring follows in late winter, and patriotic décor appears in late spring. Fall, Halloween, and Christmas displays begin arriving in July, giving customers months to preview the collections before they decorate. Shopping early gives you the best selection, as seasonal merchandise can become limited as the season progresses.

Do you carry seasonal décor year-round?

Partially. Our core silk and artificial florals, trees, ribbon, and home décor are available throughout the year, while seasonal collections rotate with the calendar. If you are looking for a specific Mardi Gras, Easter, or other seasonal piece, it is best to shop when that collection is on the floor.

Can your team help me plan a seasonal display?

Yes. Bring measurements along with your photographs — scale is the hardest thing to judge from memory, and it is where most seasonal displays go wrong. Custom floral arrangements are also available for customers looking for a more tailored design.
